We, the executive of NENA, invite you to “come back to
Hobart
” with us in October this year. For some, it will be the first time at this important forum for enrolled nurses and for others, it may well be a trip down memory lane.
Hobart
August 15th 1995 was, and still is, considered by many to be the “birthplace” of NENA. It was here that so many nurses came together and agreed strongly that we should be the voice for our level of nurse.
It was there that we set ourselves the challenge of changing the way we were perceived. From those early days, we gained the respect of many in the wider nursing community who still continue to ask for, and value, the input from us.
For many of us that passion and commitment is still as strong and relevant today, which is why we would love to see you there. We feel that each of you has something important to add to our profession.
